October 2026 Edition We are now in our last weeks of summer, with vacations now over or ending, Labor Day and its cook-outs and other fun associated activities, all now past us, as we look forward to Autumn and a return to our usual routines. So, for most of us, the time for the beach and ocean swimming is now past, but still September is a great time for long walks, hikes and bike rides, and later this month, apple picking and the New England fall foliage season. These are

August 2026 Edition We are now well into summer. Hopefully, you and your family are taking some time to enjoy all of your favorite summer time activities. Whether you most enjoy cookouts, picnics, clambakes, time at the beach and seashore, or the lakes, swimming, sailing, biking, walking, hiking or out at the golf links, attending concerts, I hope you are getting out to enjoy summer weather. Perhaps too, you’ve been lucky enough to spend one or more evenings taking in a bal

June 2026 Edition We are now into summer. Hopefully, you and your family had a most enjoyable July 4th / Independence Day holiday this past weekend, celebrating the 250th anniversary of American Independence! and perhaps you might even be able to continue with a further family vacation. Whether cookouts, picnics, clambakes, time at the beach and seashore, or the lakes, swimming, sailing, biking, walking, hiking or out at the golf links or taking in a ballgame at Fenway Park,

June 2026 Edition We are now beginning June, we’ve had some nice weather and hopefully this run of nice weather will continue, ideal for biking, hiking, boating, golf, picnics and enjoying the out of doors, and perhaps some swimming too in the lakes and by month end perhaps the ocean too. As for New England spectator sports, this has not been the best of times for Boston’ s professional sports scene. June is normally baseball season but so far this has not been a good year fo

May 2026 Edition We are now well into May and after April showers and chilly days, we are now seeing the flowers sprout and many more warm days, with ever later sunsets. Still too early for the beach, but great New England weather for biking, hiking, boating, golf, picnics and enjoying the out of doors. This has not been the best of times for Boston’ s professional sports scene. The good news was that both the Bruins and Celtics made the playoffs. The bad news was that bot

April 2026 Edition I hope you are enjoying the longer days and later sunsets that beckon the arrival of spring. In April we will have the running of the Boston Marathon and also the 251st anniversary of the starting battle of the American Revolution. A year ago on April 19, I attended “AmRev250” In Lexington. There I witnessed minutemen reenactors recall the seminal events of April ‘75…. 1775, when the embattled farmers stood and fired the shot heard round the world … the Bat

January 2026 Executive Employment Law Newsletter I hope this email finds you and your family in good health. We are now well into our first full Winter month. We have had our cold days and some snow. There has been more snow in northern New England ski country. My hope is that there will be lots of snow in ski country and not so much in Boston and the urban areas. So, if you are a winter sports enthusiast, I hope there will great winter conditions for skiing, snowboardin

November 2025 Edition We are now well into Autumn. Despite some days of Indian Summer, there is now an increasing chill to our days, with Thanksgiving not too far off at the end of this month. On the sports scene, one could not but marvel at the exiting MLB World Series concluded just after midnight this past Saturday night. I was rooting for the AL’s Toronto Blue Jays who had not been to the Fall Classic in more than 30 years, but it was hard for me to root against NL’s LA D
